Pros

Since being under the wing of Nautilus Trimline produce fitness machines that are well built, sturdy and reliable. Many comparable treadmills within the same price range would not have as good a build quality as the Trimline. This is a good philosophy as building a solid frame, deck and decent motor drives is the foundation of a quality machine that will have a longer lifespan.  Trimline also offer an extensive array of models to choose from.

Their motor warranty is nearly unheard of in the market as they provide a 30 year warranty on the motor against the standard 10 years with most other brands. They also provide a 3 year warranty on trimline treadmill parts and labor which is also excellent compared to the standard 1 year you get with other models.

Cons

Although they produce machines with solid components this treadmill does not meet the same standards in terms of providing features compared to other electric treadmill brands within the same market. They have a basic workout program and their electronics have not received the  great reviews in terms of reliability.

The 2200 is priced at $1400 making it a mid- entry machine. As with most trimline folding treadmill the build quality is good however, the main weakness of this model is the 2.0 hp continuous duty motor with a maximum speed: 10mph. For a treadmill in this price bracket you would expect  a more powerful motor. This restricts this model to walking rather than running. This is emphasized further by the lack of cushioning on the tread belt. The unit features include a heart rate and pulse rate monitor.

The 7200 has decent powered 2.7 hp continuous duty motor which can give you a maximum speed up to 11 mph. The incline elevates to a maximum 11 %. The Trimline 7200 has a wide running surface giving you plenty of room to swing those arms while you are running and has an overall attractive design. The main downside is with the display and electronics. There is also limited amount of training programs. The 7200 provides you with a solid build and quiet machine  however, if you want a better display monitor and more features you may want to consider upgrading to the trimline treadmill 7600.
